The full name is “Lined Flange Cover,” designated as BL(S). It is a special type of blind flange (flange cover) that features an additional corrosion-resistant lining on the sealing surface side, used to seal pipelines while providing protection against media corrosion.
2. Core Parameters
- Structural features: Base material (carbon steel / stainless steel) + lining (corrosion-resistant materials such as PTFE, PP, PO, rubber, etc.), with the lining covering the sealing surface and all areas in contact with the medium.
- Flange Compatibility: Compatible with flanges of the same specification, such as raised face (RF) and male-and-female (MFM) flanges, with nominal diameters ranging from DN15 to DN600.
- Pressure Rating: Suitable for medium- and low-pressure applications ranging from PN6 to PN16 (0.6 to 1.6 MPa); the maximum pressure rating is determined by the lining material.
- Lining material:
- Commonly used PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene): resistant to strong acids and strong bases, and capable of withstanding high temperatures (-180~260℃);
