PP-R pipes, formally known as Type 3 polypropylene pipes, are plastic pipelines manufactured via an extrusion molding process using random copolymer polypropylene as the raw material. Their production and performance must comply with relevant national product standards.
Main features
Excellent heat resistance and thermal insulation performance: It can withstand long-term operating temperatures up to 70°C, and can handle even higher temperatures for short-term use. Its low thermal conductivity helps maintain the temperature of hot water.
Excellent hygienic performance: The inner wall of the pipe is smooth, making it resistant to scaling and bacterial growth. The raw materials are non-toxic and meet the requirements for potable water conveyance.
Reliable connection: The pipes and fittings are joined using a hot-melt socket fusion method, where the pipe and fitting melt together at the molecular level, resulting in a highly reliable connection.
